Avicenna provides wire ablation services that remove coatings from conductors by breaking the molecular bonds of the coating material. Properly performed laser ablation results in a clean, unharmed conductor, and a border between coated and uncoated regions that is perfectly uniform, and free of defects.

Avicenna’s process accommodates conductors that range from ultra-fine single wire to flat-ribbon wire to multiple-strand cable. Our laser ablation process takes coated conductor from a bulk spool and produces either discreet components of any length, or continuous lengths on a take-up spool, with precisely located ablation zones.
