AVICENNA TECHNOLOGY DELIVERS DATA-MATRIX MARKING SERVICES.

Montevideo, Minn. / 08 July 2009—Avicenna Technology, an innovative manufacturer primarily serving the medical device industry with Laser, Mechanical, and Organizational Energy services, delivers data-matrix marking services.

Avicenna’s laser machining capabilities include data-matrix marking which allows for a significant amount of data to be stored in a very small space. This process is typically used for marking small and difficult surfaces. Data-matrix marking works especially well for marking catheter components and long-term implantable leads.

One of the unique benefits of data-matrix marking includes the creation of permanent traceability for medical device products. The product data can be entered via an electronic scanning process. This eliminates manual data entry and the inevitable errors that result.

Avicenna uses Laser, Mechanical and Organizational Energy combined with sophisticated automation to prototype, plan, and manufacture products made from a wide range of materials. As an innovative manufacturer and solution provider, Avicenna bridges the technology-solution gap between customer ideas and commercialized products — products that change the way we live.
